Legal informatics is an evolving field that descends from the old interdisciplinary science of “Jurimetrics”. This science is devoted to covering all the latest innovations and technological utilities in the legal field.

Our practice focuses on:

• Managerial Legal Informatics: Software tools for managing legal and administrative procedures, computer use in the legal professions, automation in the judicial procedures and drafting of legislative texts. 
• Documentary Legal Informatics: Information retrieval, legal document databases and legal bibliographical databases. The information retrieval area comprises the design and development of technologies for text indexing, classification and summarization, information extraction, legal thesauri and retrieval models.
• Decisional Legal Informatics: Legal expert systems, decision-support systems and legal advising systems. (The result of computer-aided judicial analysis is to facilitate the prediction of how cases are likely to be decided. It can do so by listing past cases and predictive criteria in the columns, and in general by showing for each factual element the estimated probability of winning a case).
• Support Legal Informatics: E-Government systems, computer-aided legal drafting, legal automatic documentation, legal alert systems, legal e-learning systems and legal electronic encyclopedia systems.
